Friends of Cypress Gardens


The Friends of Cypress Gardens is a Charitable Non-Profit (501(c)3) organization that supports Cypress Gardens, a public facility in Berkeley County, SC. 
 
We provide funding for educational programs, supplies,  and beautification projects in addition to providing personnel support during scheduled events. 

We support Cypress Gardens’ mission to provide an Educational Green Space to the public.

Benefits of Volunteering 

Hands-on Training 
Learn more about plants, animals and insects and learn about the history of Cypress Gardens. 

Share your knowledge with others 
Help our visitors have a pleasant experience, and as a result become part of a community effort in helping Cypress Gardens grow. 

Additional Benefits: 
(10 hrs.) For every 10 hours of work (up to 60), receive a one-day pass for yourself or guest. 

(25 hrs.) After 25 hours of work receive an individual annual pass to Cypress Gardens. 

(30 hrs.) After 30 hours of work, receive a discount of 20% in the Gift Shop. 

(50+ hrs) After 50 hours of work, receive a reciprocal pass that gains you admittance into many Lowcountry parks. (Download the Reciprocal Pass 3013 Sitelisting.pdf below for a list of the reciprocal attractions)
