About The Festival

This is the sixth festival co-hosted with Cypress Gardens, the V-Tones and The Charleston Hot Shots.  Each festival gets bigger and better.  This year we have added Mountain Dulcimers to the festival.

It is the only festival of its kind on the southeast coast.  This festival gives people the opportunity to take workshops, meet other ukulele and Dulcimer players.  This year we are raising money for the Music Speaks Project www.musicspeaksproject.com to raise awareness for Autism and the need for early access to care through the power of music.  Nathan Miller, co-founder of the the project, will be one of the performers at the free concert. CD's will be on sale to help raise funds for the project.
The festival is put on by local ukulele and Dulcimer enthusiasts who volunteer their time.  We kick the festival off with three workshops, followed by a concert with 5 separate acts and finish with the ever popular open mic.

For the non-uke playing members of your family there are the regular park attractions a gift store, and food, craft and uke vendors.
